My bad, not prohibited but not approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in the USA.

Yet again, I would like the source (not that I doubt you, but just want to send it to somebody :) )

It is not on the list of approved drug products (neither under these names: Mildronate, THP, MET-88, Mildronāts or Quaterine)

And here is one of the articles I read:

Quote

Sharapova and her attorney, John J. Haggerty, declined to say where Sharapova was put on the drug or where she gets it now, citing the ongoing process with the ITF. Meldonium is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Leaving all the drama around Sharapova, Indian Wells women's singles draw is out:

Bottom half is weaker.

Men's singles qualifying draw: http://www.protennislive.com/posting/2016/404/qs.pdf

Tough draw for Tommy Paul, tricky one for Rublev too.

I guess Sharapova will miss the olympic games ...

I dont think that it was just a stupid mistake, but i am still sad that she wont be able to fulfill her dream of winning an olympic gold medal.

On the other hand i am glad that she wont retire, she is the biggest star in womens tennis behind Serena.

I wonder if this was the reason why she didnt play in FedCup?

Will she now loose all her points from the Australian Open?

Its funny that many people applaud her for announcing it herself, i think it wouldve been worse for her if ITF wouldve announced it. I am just surprised that ITF allowed her to do it.

Tons of russian/ukrainian athletes and Aregawi have been caught already, i think many more might follow. Why didnt anyone of her staff notice that Meldonium will become illegal? Maybe they didnt even know that she was taking it ...

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Tiafoe vs Fritz in first round! Tiafoe could get much easier opponent though.

Chung vs Ramos, and if he wins, faces Kyrgios in second. Possible Kyrgios vs. Murray in fourth round already!

Delpo vs Berdych in 2nd round.... I like men's singles draw in general.
