The National Stadium Mane Garrincha is a Football stadium and multipurpose arena located in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. With a capacity of 72.788 places is the second largest Stadium of the country. The Stadium opened in 1974 will host some matches of both football tournaments during the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. The stadium is named by one of the most famous Brazilian football player. Garrincha regarded by many in the sport to be the best dribbler in world football history.

 

Brasilia is the federal capital of Brazil. The city is located atop the Brazilian Highlands in the country's center-western region. It was founded on April 21, 1960, to serve as the new national capital. Brasília and its metro (encompassing the whole of the Federal District) had a population of 2,556,149 inhabbitants.
