Schnyder had a 14-0 record and Radwanska had a 12-0. Interesting enough, Maria Sharapova who beat Schnyder in first round is still unbeaten in US Open first round. She now has a 12-0 record. Three other women in this edition is still unbeaten in first round: Venus Williams now has a 20-0 record, Serena Williams 18-0 and Victoria Azarenka 11-0.
