james89 442 Posted February 18, 2018 #803 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Weird that there is only 3 medal events today, but Canada has a decent shot in 2 of them. Lots can happen in the 500m speed skating though. A little bit disappointed that Rochon finished 5th, I definitely prefer the slopestyle best of 3 runs as opposed to the elimination all or nothing (for aerials, moguls works just fine). But a medal for ABM and the women's curling team finally pulling it together were highlights.

I actually think the big air format (best two out of 3, cannot count two identical jumps) would work really well with aerials.
orangeman 1,323 Posted February 19, 2018 #805 Share Posted February 19, 2018 (edited) Also a couple of setting up of medals today. Ice dance and women's big air and ski halfpipe. And of course women's hockey semis. Edited February 19, 2018 by orangeman
james89 442 Posted February 19, 2018 #806 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Do we think Humphries is playing mind games with her training runs or she actually had an off day?

If the Korean 2-man team, who have probably ridden this track thousands of times in their sleep, can mess up in their 1st actual run, pretty sure anyone can have a off day. james89 442 Posted February 20, 2018 #809 Share Posted February 20, 2018 2 golds last night, here I was thinking there was no way we could hit the 10 gold from Sochi and now its looking like it'll happen. Only 7 more medals till we hit the 26 total!
JoshMartini007 2,210 Posted February 20, 2018 #810 Share Posted February 20, 2018 It'll be tight, especially if we completely fail in curling and men's ice hockey.
