You may very well have heard names like Nightwish, HIM, Apocalyptica, Children of Bodom.

In other words there aren't much mainstream succes, but in metal music Finland is a pretty well-known country (not that I'm an expert in metal)

Well this is interesting, I'll give those names a listen when I'm back home. If anyone has some more interesting metal suggestions, I'm always up for that or anything else that's (relatively) loud and hard  (no electronic music usually, anything between Metallica and Lordi will do)
