Reminds me of the girl from Belarus who was world champion in 2013 or 2015 coming out of nowhere.

Arzamasova in 2015. To be fair, she definitely didn't come as out of nowhere as Pryshchepa (as in, invisible during the season). At least Arzamasova had already been a regular Diamond League runner for a bit of time, and European champion in 2014, plus silver in 2012 and indoor bronze in between.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Doing nothing for 6 years and then coming back like that is even more suspicious. A guy finishing 4th at U23 level just to win a medal at senior level one year later is fishy as well, personally i would never trust any athletes from Belarus.

I'm well aware Western Europe has zero trust in Eastern European performances. Everything east of Oder is suspicious by default
