Congratulation @GoPoland was very close to the gold, but went short for two points, but congratulation on silver medal as well Always dangerous, @ady48 proved to be a contender for a medal not matter the sport, event and conditions! Well done on bronze medal! @Topicmaster1010 was very close, but ady48 with amazing predicting on final day snatched the medal. Better luck next time! It was a good chance to get another medal in Biathlon, but somehow with Biathlon being such an unpredictable sport, I always manage to rank fairly well Congrats to the medalists. Congratulation to probably only female competitor in the Nordic Skiing prediction contest It was tight battle for silver and bronze medal, but @dcro was stable enough to prove his excellence and earn silver medal! Well done Germans are doing very well so far, the only nation to challenge the Italians during Winter Olympics prediction contests so far. @EselTheDonkey with good predictions on final day won bronze medal, one point behind the silver medalist, one point above the compatriot who just won gold 24h ago in Alpine Skiing. What is more important - this is his second medal, second bronze after third place in Biathlon prediction contest!!! Absolutely amazing to be placed high again! Congratulation! Great contests for the rest of top 10 gang, with two Brazilians, three Italians, an American and German! Thank you everyone who participated. I was glad I could run the contest for all of you. No one is expected to be expert in sports and disciplines, but participating in such events can give extra motivation to follow certain events, learn about them and get to know the athletes/teams and choose own favourites. This prediction contest was mostly dominated by Italians. But step by step @Herberth Nelson Balbi Silveira, a competitor with probably the longest names on the forum, was rising and on the final day melted the difference between him and stamura84 and overtook the top position earning Brazil's the gold medal of the event! Simply amazing! Congratulation!!! Probably not the ending @stamura84 expected, but he actually added another silver medal of the Winter Olympics prediction contests ti his collection after being the 2nd in Biathlon! Astonishing! Well done and many congratulations! Since the beginning, this was Italian job to be done, and @Dunadan made it sure to be, winning bronze medal and total 4th medal for Italy in Winter Olympics prediction contests! Great predictions Top 10 ended surprisingly mixed and that was quite a feat. Thank you everyone who participated! But it could be more exciting if OAR went 2 goals up with Germany catching up. However, it was very interesting race to gold medal between Pablita and juliosilva who needed just +3 for OAR to make sensational result with Brazil taking the most gold medals in our prediction contests! But @Pablita sealed the deal, becoming the most successful competitor of the Winter Olympics prediction contests with her second gold and fifth medal for Italy overall! Congratulation Pablita! Congratulation to @juliosilva who is probably satisfied with his silver and second medal for Brazil too. Great contest! Such a see-saw was the third position. Many of you were there, but at the end, it was @Jahiegel who won bronze medal! Congratulation He needed less than a point difference from @chrischi08 to do it who didn't have enough faith in his countrymen and predicted OAR's win by 4. Tough luck, but nevertheless, great showing during these prediction contest for the new member of the forum. Daring heywoodu finished 5th followed by MCMXC, Ufilov, ady48, NikolaB and GoPoland with probably all of them being in top 3 at some point.
