If i was to put the blame to someone, that would be the guys who light up the flares . Riders really need all the visibility they can get.

Absolutely. That video from behind was awful, the motor riders just disappeared into nothing and so did the riders only a few meters in front of the camera.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

And apart from visibility, I'm pretty sure it's not exactly helpful to ride through thick, toxic smoke when competing at the very limit of the human body, with heart rates basically at or near it's maximum and trying to get every bit of oxygen molecules you can get into your system. But no, flares are great.

They are all idiots but it was the guy with the camera that caused the fall...he suddenly moved towards the centre of the street and Nibali's handlebar was caught in the camera strap.

Why can't people just stand and cheer/applaude for the riders? Is it that hard? :(

Also: there were questions earlier to raise the time limit by 2%, but it was denied by ASO. The next day, Demare was in trouble and, surprise, they raised the time limit during the stage :facepalm:

Once upon a time 10 hours ago, Rein Taaramäe was a once slightly promising GC rider now standing in 4th place in the mountains classification after some pretty decent stages, including 3rd in Le Grand-Bornand two days ago. Today he finished outside the time limit.
