Bit of a confusing response I know, but to explain my thought process, watching (along with playing, but irrelevant point) sports and sharing results on Totallympics are two of my favourite things to do. Trying to not worry too much when personal problems is hard for me, and it might be what I need to not freak out and have mental breakdowns every couple of minutes. But we’ll see.

    Same dude; same.

I'll keep your father and you in my thoughts.

I think there are 2 quota reallocations on the cards on the men's side - Israel and Suriname don't have a second eligible rider and so they will have to reject the quota. Assuming that is the case, I'd project that :HUN and :KAZ will get an individual quota for sprint/keirin.

On the women's side, there is only 1 quota which should be subject to reallocation - Italy don't have an eligible second rider in the keirin/sprint behind Miriam Vece. In the most likely scenario, Italy will probably reject the keirin quota resulting in :ESP picking up the spot for sprint/keirin.

Is there any particular reason you project :HUN getting the reallocation instead of :COL if a quota becomes available in the men's sprint?

  3. This thread provides a peak at some of the Nike sponsored uniforms for this summer.

Kenya will ditch the honeycomb look it seems.

I like the color splotch pattern for the track uniforms, but I wish they differed a bit between nation (in terms of orientation).

:USA skateboard uniforms continue to be quite different for other sports. I think these are good, but I’m interested in what the athletes think.

  4. Team :ISV Update and Thoughts (April 2024)

    Current Quotas: 2

    Archery - 1 (men's individual recurve)

    Fencing - 1 (men's foil)

Schembri and D'Amour qualifiying has provided some nice relief after a rather quiet qualification season. Both are certainly some of the islands' best athletic prospects. If they stay healthly and avoid any miscellaneous issues, I look forward to seeing what results they can achieve in Paris.

    Ideal Quota Allocation: 6-8

@Topicmaster1010 simulated 8 quotas for Team ISV, which feels a bit generous at this moment (not that it wasn't appreicated :d). I'm definitely keeping my eye on Michelle Smith (athletics). If she can get a quota in the women's 400m hurdles, I believe that will garantee an additional male quota in athletics as well. Other than Smith, I can't envision any other quotas outside universality allocations. I have no idea which sports/athletes the NOC targeted, but the following allocation would leave me very pleased:

    Archery - 1 (women's individual recurve)

Golf - 1 (women's individual) [Swayne had that nice 6th place result at Santiago 2023. It would be cool to see her compete in Paris.]

    Swimming - 2

Sailing - ? [I don't feel like it was a particularly great cycle for the sailing team. Dale might be a candidate for a universality quota in ILCA7 though.]

    :ISV WITH ANOTHER QUOTA!!!!!!!:hyper::thumbup:

Well, turning into a pretty great week for :ISV

I'm happy he was able to get the quota here. I'm holding onto a little hope that one of the universality quotas may go to Abernathy (assuming she has the MQS).
