  1. So, let's sum up: 1. Yes, I am happy it's back. 2. No, I am not happy, that it's back without me in Budapest now. 3. No, I am not happy with the UIPM TV being hidden behind the paywall. It may work with FEI or ITU with big sports popularity. IJF is doing all on Youtube, still developing their coverage. UIPM goes down and down since London 2012. 4. Yes, I am sad with the Polish results on Wednesday - that was so close, but unless you're an outstanding runner (none of our girls is), you can't just do the fencing with 50%-50% on victories-defeats. 5. And I don't really know what to think about Oktawia's come back. With such a poor run (the same she showed two weeks ago in Drzonków), maybe it would be better not to. But she made the decision just six days after she told me she concentrates on CISM competitions, so...
  2. The forum is barely accessible, slow and not rarely with some errors - 503, 500... One might get crazy.
  3. There is an accreditation system where NOCs have to put all their potential representatives long before the Olympics. It was well known since quite long ago that DJ won't be in Tokyo, he is not even in any Olympic Ranking simulation, although as the World Ranking leader he should open this one as well.
  4. You know what, I have enough of this shit. Go to hell with all that. I'm out.
  5. Once in a lifetime even Monzanator can say something I agree with in 99% - the 1% is the emoticon in the end, because I don't find it funny in any context.

  7. I could fully expect Poznań being interested as with YOG or Universiade... as well as not getting any government money on that for even more political reasons :P
  8. That's why Sasin is "responsible" for the Games from their side. If he spent 70 milions on an election that didn't take a place, then how much can he spend on the European Games that won't take a place?
  9. Drive to Survive Season 3 coming on 19th March "Survive" wasn't so true in this series so far as it will be during the episode on Grosjean's accident.

  14. They've just forbid "top tube" position. You simply underestimate those idiots called "sport stakeholders". And I have no problem with that - if it's team then I don't care what kind of team it is, if all teams are on an equal rules. And that's what I love in e-cycling. "Winning on my own" (dee do de de - I don't have no time for some monkey businees, got to be some good times ahead).
  15. That's what I say - do it, obviously. But give the official money prize, not expect the winner to share his beause of being grateful. And don't "share" medal. Give the medals to the team. The whole team of the best individual on a podium. If that's the team sport. All the names of the team members on the winner lists. If not, then it's not a team sport, it's individual sport. All the other way is the bullshit from the edge of race fixing and sport corruption between rivals, who are separate positions on a start list.
  16. Then give the medals and the money prizes for a victory of the team's best individual to the whole team for divide. Write all the team members names on the winners list. Officially, as the prize for the winner, not because the winner "was grateful" to his buddies. And that's where if you don't agree, there is no point to discuss with me.
  17. Indoor Rowing is highly developed - I tell you that, the guy from one of the most rowing city in one of the most rowing country on the Olympic level. I myself love it, when I have the opportunity (I lose, then I can't walk normally for a few minutes, then I suffer the whole next week, but I LOVE IT). There are national, European, World Championships...
  18. I mean if that's the compromise... I'm OK with that. Because from the position of a TV viewer - what's the difference if he watches the cycler being in Paris or the avatar of the cycler in a virtual Paris? The same emotions, in fact I have the same emotions watching TdF, Zwift e-cycling and Jelle's Marbles (especially with Savage Speeders). To be honest - 6 hours of TdF for three weeks is much more tiring. From the perspective of a viewer in place - is it better to see a guy speeding 50 km/h once an hour or to watch him fighting all the time from... let's say something like cinema, maybe even with popcorn and cola. From the perspective of a journalist - what does one lose if he watches both, real and virtual version, from his place on media tribune? Or IBC. Or studio in his company's HQ, because he was not chosen to go to Tokyo/Paris/LA? From the perspective of an athlete - what does it change for him if the simulator he works on is so close to reality? You know, what I've learned from e-cycling Worlds this year? That I was so fucking right about the "best" cyclers winning everything thanks to their less ambitious teammates' job only. "The best" lost to some anonymous (for me) names when it was all about just individual racing on the same device - it means, in the equal conditions.
  19. 1956 Soviet team featured Nodar Gvakhariya and Petre Mshveniyeradze, so in fact...
  20. They lead us to moonlight only to burn us with the sun. Are we just fooling ourselves that they'll stop the pain. Just a fool to believe IOC is what we need - they're like a... stormwind. Just a fool to believe... Just a fool to believe... Just a fool... Just a fool... Just a fool...
