  1. @Sergio Vez and his team defeated my clubmates last weekend in Łódź.
  2. We've got the first Qualification System - it's curling I could simply post the pdf here, but I want you to enter the Federation website to download it https://pfkc.pl/znamy-zasady-kwalifikacji-na-zio-2026/
  3. I understand France is representative as Europe in team and duet and reallocation of host country goes to Worlds. What a f*cking mess.
  4. The CCIO4*-L contest at Equestrian Festival Baborówko has decided the Olympic quota for the team in group C. It was won by the host team of Poland - the only one to complete the eventing with all the riders. Already on Thursday it was clear that Czech team will not participate in this battle as Miloslav Přihoda Jr's horse Ferreolus Lat didn't pass the veterinarian inspection. It brought the battle down to two teams - Poland and Hungary. Dressage test gave 9,7 point of advantage to the hosts, but it was the cross country to become crucial. With Noémi Viola Doerfer falling of her horse and Balázs Kaizinger retiring and all the Polish pairs reaching the finish line with no obstacle penalties it was enough for Poland to complete the competition to get the tickets to Paris. The CCIO4*-L contest was however a great chance to get the MER score - and all the Polish athletes reached the final TOP5 with Jan Kamiński winning, Mateusz Kiempa (starting individually only), Małgorzata Korycka, Paweł Warszawski and Wiktoria Knap behind him. Now it's up to the national team's coach, Olympic champion Andreas Dibowski, to pick the three pairs and an alternate one for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. According to the plan, he wants to raise the level in Poland to have seven or eight pairs to pick from late spring next year. 5. Thursday was te first competition day of Equestrian Festival Baborówko, which CCIO4*-L contest is the Paris 2024 Qualification event for Group C. The veterinarian inspection for the participating was held and that brought the battle to just two nations. Only four countries entered their athletes to the CCIO4*-L - Bulgaria with just one Petar Marchev and Gaskon, Czech Republic and Hungary with three pairs and the event host, Poland, with six pairs. During the horse inspection Miloslav Přihoda Jr and Ferreorus Lat were eliminated, which caused Czech team to be incomplete and thus unable to battle for the Olympic quota. This means only two countries will have the opportunity to fight for the Paris 2024 - Hungary and Poland. With Poland having six pairs in the CCIO4*-L, the national team coach, Andreas Dibowski, decided the team will feature Małgorzata Korycka and Canvalencia, Jan Kamiński and Jard, Paweł Warszawski and Lucinda Ex Ani 4 and Wiktoria Knap and Quintus 134. The Hungarian team will have Balázs Kaizinger and Clover 15, Noémi Viola Doerfer and Crystal Barney and Imre Tóth and Zypresse 8. The dressage test will be held on Friday, the cross on Saturday while the final show jumping test will decide the quota on Sunday. Poland seems to be favorite again - they've won the quota for Tokyo 2020 Olympics four years ago, also in Baborówko. 6. Guys, I'm heading to Baborówko for Group C qualifiers. Anyone interested in something I could ask the athletes/coaches who will be there?
  7. It's been almost five months since the post above and I'm looking for this answer as well.
  8. And the win in Puerto Rico was powerful for Echavarria - he is now within the Olympic 60:
  9. We've got some updates on qualification system documents (some of them probably just dates updated): All FINA (Artistic Swimming, Diving, Swimming, Open Water, Water Polo), BMX racing, BMX freestyle, Athletics, Basketball 3x3, Rugby 7s (change in North America dates with host given), Triathlon and Track Cycling. If you find other changes/differences with what we've known so far, please, write.
  10. Hi - greetings from my night route from Copernicus Cup to Golf Channel Poland studio for Singapore Classic live and International Series Oman relive for the next four days. And I've heard there will be LPGA soon in our TV, so finally a motivation to take interest in women's golf after women's volleyball and football (and ice hockey, but just until this season openend with a collapse of my home city team).
  11. Sure, it depends on the priorities. I was going the day FlixBus, so not even planning to sleep. And as you say - sitting is cheaper than couchette. I have no problems with sleeping in a sit position and in fact not always willing to sleep in the travel. Even in the night.
  12. I plan to go - staying at my friend's home and with media accreditation probably, so my only "worry" is the transport - from Poland it's either flight, but I prefer something less restricted (I mean luggage and all the boarding procedures). So I'll take either the night train (as I don't need any comfort I might even not take the couchette, but sitting place, as the last time) or the FlixBus. For the food - my favorite one is Retró Lángos at Bajcsy-Zsillinszky u.
  13. I'm sure Poland is really eager to host the women's tournament.

  19. That would explain no Cavaliada events on the list as well. Thanks for that point!
  20. @dcroWhy isn't this weekend's Leipzig counted for ranking? It's a CSI5*, the Grand Prix has 1,55 cm, so it fits the criteria.

  23. UEFA announced the start of a new competition for women. UEFA Nations League will serve as a qualifier for the Olympic Games and EURO or World Cup, starting from the upcoming edition. The Nations League starts in autumn 2023 with the format similar to the men's version of the competition. The teams will be divided into three leagues - Leagues A and B consist of 16 teams each while the League C will feature the remaining teams, depending on the number of entries. In each league there will be groups of four (or groups of three in group C, if the team number won't be divisible by four). The matches will be played with a typical league system - one home and one away match with all the other teams in the group. The Uefa Nations League finals will feature the winners of the League A groups. They will be played with a single knock-out format - the semi-finals, the final and the 3rd-place match. The finalists will get the quota for the Olympic Games. For Paris 2024, if France gets to the final, the third-placed team will fill the remaining UEFA place in the Olympic tournament. The next phase of the competition will be the European Qualifiers. The winners and runners-up of Leagu A will stay there, joined by the winners of League B. The fourth-placed teams will be relegated to the League B. Also the winners of League C will be promoted to the League B, replacing the lowest-ranked teams from that League (including the lowest-ranked third-placed teams, shall there be more than four groups in League C). The remaining teams play in the promotion/relegation matches - the third-placed teams from league A will play the League B runners-up, with the winners playing the League A and the losers in the League B. The League B third-placed teams will play with the best-ranked second-placed teams from League C with the same rule of promotion/relegation. For the UEFA Women's EURO Qualifier the 8 top teams of League A will have a direct qualification. The remaining slots will be filled by the two-round play-offs. The 8 low-ranked teams of League A will play the top 8 of League C in the first round, while the teams placed 1-3 in the League B will play each other in the six matches (winners and top 2 second-placed teams are seeded). The fourteen winners will advance to the second round of play-offs, with another home-and-away game deciding the final spots. Photo: Wojciech Nowakowski/Totallympics News
