I think your team has potential, today they played pretty good in the 1st and 3rd set against Bulgaria, which is a very strong team. Greece certainly lacks experience when it comes to playing at important tournaments, but has some talented players like Zoupanis or Protopsaltis. I think you should be able to take the 4th place and qualify from this group.

Slovenia If they play like this, they can go very far in this tournament.

But ultimately though, I think it is good for Volleyball that countries such as France or Slovenia get to host important events. The truth is, in most European countries, even when it comes to just team sports, volley is at best 3rd tier discipline (after football and basketball), and in many countries sports such as Handball or Ice Hockey are way more popular. I think this Championship may be an opportunity to introduce new fans to the sport, and it's a much better option than continuously having Poland, Japan or Italy host all important events.

Yeah, even N'gapeth said Montpellier is hardly a volleyball city If that's the case, this is a really weird choice of host by French Volleyball Federation, I think there were far better options...plus on paper Romania is not the most exciting opponent (no ofence to anyone). Still, from what I saw at the vs match the attendance wasn't that bad, especially since the match was played at 14:00 in the middle of the week, so we'll see.

After a long, long wait finally it starts today I hope for some surprising results

A few days ago, in order to promote the EC in , a volleyball match was played on a specially prepared underwater pitch in Ljubjanica river.

Well, our boys played like there was no tommorow, but in the end was much stronger and deservedly won. This tournament is not over yet, we will fight for 5th to 8 th place and I hope we can get something more. Anyway, this was an amazing tournament, hardly anyone expected anything from this team, but they proved their worth. They have every reasonm to be proud.

I actually heard maybe the host of women's OQT That wouldn't be nothing new, as they already hosted Women's European Championships a few years ago.

Another championship won by , this team is making history For us, well, 4th place, pretty much expected after we qualified to semifinal. Still, it is a huge success considering how deep in crisis and forgotten was our women volleyball just a few years ago. I still think our girls deserve praise, and in a year or two, who knows, maybe they'll bring a medal home too.

Well, no gold for us, but still, great championship anyway. The girls did what they had to do when they advanced to quarterfinals, us even being here is a big surprise.

Congrats Serbia once again, what a team they have
