Hypothetically it is still possible to let the Israeli team in Jakarta, the GBK stadium complex has a hotel in it (although it is located at the easternmost point of the complex). Seal the complex gates and play behind closed doors... Not going to be a pretty solution but if situation is getting worse I think both FIFA and the Indonesian government can consider this.

Just went to Jakarta Velodrome for the first time, a really nice experience I have to say. Spectators around me mostly have no idea about the events, luckily the announcements in the venue are very helpful for the first-time goers. The excitement was the highest during elimination race of women's omnium and the close races of the men's sprint.

Well a few of them are really more helpful and intuitive than the traditional ones (cycling road/track, rowing, canoeing). 50% of them contains unnecessary confusion while the reminder are "excuse me wtf is that". Badminton looks 500% cooler here, hopefully can help the reduce the backyard sport stigma -

Yeah when I saw he was initially registered, I was arranging to watch him with some friends lol But in the end, the organizers just sticks with the gov stance of allowing Israelis to compete without any trace of country identifiers (no room for negotiation especially when shooting federation is controlled by the Army). ICYMI, Yuval Shemla participated at the Jakarta leg of IFSC World Cup 2022 with a plain black sleeveless shirt
