And Olympic qualification. It's feasible that Laukkanen might be a part of the Finnish team sprint relay, so she'll need two more sprints to qualify.

Yes with this 14th place, she equaled the result of Jelena Lolovic in Aspen´s Slalom of November 2009.

yeah, nowadays it's a real challenge... when first Epee and then Sabre were started also among the women by FIE, it was quite common to see athletes going for 2 weapons at one time, but then there was a full specialization as it is among the men since many, many years... still, I don't think that even such a talent like Errigo would finally make the Olympic team in her "second" weapon...at least in a Country like Italy...maybe for those who come from "smaller" (in Fencing terms, of course) Nations would be easier...but for now nobody gave it a real try...Errigo is the first with such ambition... let's wait and see...personally, I'd prefer her to stay more focused on "her" Foil, but if she gets Kharlan-alike level of play also in Sabre, why not taking advantage of her talent?

It´s finally official. The Athletics Integrity Unit - the last instance finally revealed her statement in the case Matej Tóth. After many consultations and investigations, they agreed with the results of the Antidoping agency. So Our first ever Olympic champion in Athletics is cleared from all charges. https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/311785/matej-toth-konecne-pozna-verdikt-iaaf-sa-vyjadrila/ Justice won

I'd love to see biathlon live someday! If they come back to Le Grand Bornand, I'll try to go next time

She has a 6th place as best result https://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/athlete-biography.html?sector=FS&competitorid=178908&type=result&category=WC&season=ALL&sort=P&discipline=ALL&position=&place=&Submit=Search&limit=50

Yes, but I like this decision , Guerrero deserves to play in WC after all what he did to his country in last 13 years

Hopefully tomorrow's results will be much better for me than these races today...

Exactly. Plus there's no biathlon in that time anyway, why not get some more competitive rhythm. Besides, Laukkanen has already proven more than once she's very much capable of being a serious World Cup-level cross-country skier in the sprint.

Arabella Caroline Yili Ng has assured her qualification, adding Hong Kong to the list of participants. She will also be their first ever winter athlete competing outside of short track.

Definitely choose biathlon Although it's a bit hard to follow who is doing well in interval start races, but I think in a World Cup that's made easier with screens and such, unlike in the IBU Cups. In the summer (southern winter) you can go to Mt Hotham in Australia and cheer on Team Australia/Brazil who are most likely training and competing there

From another Isafjordur race page: http://www.fossavatn.com/en “Our partner Craft Sport offers waxing services at their store, where you can leave your skis and have them done for you. The guesthouses usually try to provide some facilities for their guests who want to wax their skis themselves. There are waxing facilities at the parking behind Hotel Isafjordur, Silfurtorgi 2 where skiers can wax their own skis. You have to bring your own stuff though.”
