This is what the quota situation looks like after the first of four world cups, excluding the time ranking which ads 16 places for the 500m/1000m/1500m, 8 places for the 3000/5000m, 4 places for the 5000/10000m and 2 places for the team pursuit. Max number of athletes is 3 per event for the 500m, 1000m, 1500m and the 3000/5000m while it's 2 per event for the 5000/10000m and the mass start. A country can have up to ten skaters if they qualify in every event, otherwise the limit is eight. Exactly, and by playing teams like Cyprus more regularly it can surely be only a good thing. The games against Austria and Serbia should be closer affairs and will be the ones to determine who will survive. Conference II North is the easier division but better playing in the harder division and gaining better experience is better in the long term

Hmm, I was reading about member associates of World Rugby and in their official handbook, seems like they had a little trouble with the identity of one nation.... @hckosice

Thanks for the info! I forgot what the song was about, hence I thought it was a bit older (somehow I permuted years of Czechoslovakian and Hungarian uprising from 1956) So, my song isn't the oldest one.

Maybe risky, but for me, the Open contests are about the old songs - to show how your country's music developed through ages. Next year I (if still alone representative) would go with much modern song unless I decide to nominate a unique all-girl band from Dunedin This contests was average (the first Open was probably the most quality one if I remember well, maybe 2014 edition too). People don't have to pick famous songs but I hope more people would dig deep... for instance, France is still to show us their remarkable 1960s era That would be fun statistics to do, shortest/longest ever and oldest songs entered I am not sure if it is the oldest, but definitely among the oldest songs. I think the first one entered by Czech Republic was from early 1960s if not 1950s?

If anything, I'm pretty sure New Zealand's song is the oldest song entered so far? Just like the Uruguayan song is surely the shortest ever.

I am extremely disappointed by this edition, no songs i really like. Why was everyone afraid to pick popular songs? The open edition should normally have a much better quality than the annual edition, but this time it is clearly the other way round. Given the level of competition, i am confident that Germany would have gotten a very good result this time, which makes me even sadder that i missed the deadline to enter a song.

I stopped believing that's possible after even Bryan Adams didn't win. I have a feeling that country of our beloved @heywoodu will be victorious this time.

I would say you have to be over 25 years old to know who Cuper is... his peak was in the early 00s coaching Valencia to 2 UCL finals and then Inter.

Well in that case, we do agree after all The list is rather long indeed, from the Weinstein's to Sepp Blatter and Mariah Carey, there hardly are famous people left who aren't accused..

I know it's not a simple situation, I was just talking about some cases where there's undeniable proof that the men have done something (in form of recordings, witnesses or even in some cases they confessing the misconduts), but of course there has to be some kind of investigation. I just like that the victims now have the liberty to come forward, so that an investigation happens in the first place. Some time ago their claims were usually completely dismissed. Remember that many men who were accused of sexual assault went on to win Oscars, Grammys and whatnot, so I like the direction this is taking. Also, while we're talking about Hollywood, we also have to turn our eyes to the world of sports (like Aly Raisman and other gymnasts). This is not an exclusivity of the entertainment business, and it just makes me sad.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that a lot/most of them are true (simply because it's easy to imagine that there's so many powerful people who think they can do whatever they want), but one can argue that it's getting out of hand when accusations (unproven) within days lead to people being cut out of already finished movies and kicked out of TV/radio stations.
