  2. An update on : Helmy Elsaeed the cross country skier is trying to establish an Egyptian Ski federation. Apparently it never officially existed and the Egyptian who previously participated had dual US citizenship, so could go through them without national quotas (at the time none existed). The rules of Egypt's Ministry of Sport are that multiple clubs have to play a sport before a federation can be established. Helmy is the only skier, so is trying to get exceptions. He also said he might try to participate as an Independent Olympic Athlete (though I doubt the FIS will let him get points like that). Point is he has to get Egypt accepted by the Autumn meetings in October 3rd-7th as the preliminary entry deadline is on the 9th. If he can manage that he'll probably qualify. From what I've seen he's a capable enough skier.

  3. Moguce da grijesim al mislim da je pcelica mislila da zbog svega sto se desilo nema smisla da se docek organizuje. Koliko vidim ljudi je bilo bas dosta. Nisu se zasitili, mislim da je ipak red da se narod makar ovako zahvali. A ja sam svakako zadovoljan, iako ostaje zal za zlatom. Sa ovakvim igracima se nije moglo vise. Dali su sve od sebe.

  5. Thank you guys for all support. I still can't believe what happened in Turkey. I was in Ljubljana yesterday for reception of our Golden boys, so sad not being quite good one, but nevertheless excitement was still there, with 20.000 people gathered in our capital city. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE BEST, ONLY SKY IS THE LIMIT !!!
