Rhythmic Gymnastics FIG World Championships 2017

I remember there was some sort of discussion about rhythmic gymnastics not being a proper sport. Some people even consider it to be easy. When a girl performs a routine with big mistakes, everyone can see how hard this sport is, and maybe, just maybe, people will finally learn to respect the hard work each and every gymnast puts on their routines. Besides, you can post the routines of the medalists if you want. I encourage you to do so.3 points -

I agree that it's hard to enjoy it fully if you don't understand much of what is going on. It helps a lot if you understand the value of some elements. But I admit that it is hard for most people, even die hard fans. Here are some videos that might help, though.2 points -
I just made the calculations and will finish better than / as long as they: - win all 3 remaining games -make a decent goal difference between all them (something like +5 or better) - Montenegro and Denmark both lose to Poland (Denmark play them at home tomorrow, Montenegro away in the last matchday). It would also help inmensely if Montenegro and Denmark tie their remaining game You can make all the permutations with this: http://ultra.zone/2018-FIFA-World-Cup-qualification-UEFA1 point

Wonderful plan! If Bruna qualifies, I guess she can only compete in the 10k and sprint, so the rest doesn't matter as much for me. If she doesn't qualify, I'll definitely stay home1 point -

I might be going as well! If we meet, definitely at the Women's 10km. I'll try getting a Brazilian flag...1 point -

I don't get what harm adding e-Sports is Being "against tradition" is kind of irrelevant - otherwise nothing will get changed That companies make games - companies make tennis rackets, football boots, golf clubs... not the end of the world That it's "not a sport" - this is a bit of an NTS (No True Sportsman?). There is no line for "sport" ending and starting - if shooting can stay then e-Sports can And that it's not "spectator friendly", the best response for that is Equestrian Dressage. If it's too complicated... does anyone understand how Sport Climbing works... not that easy to learn... equestrian, surfing, martial arts It has a big fan base, probably bigger than things like Taekwondo and Surfing There can be variety with many different games Honestly if they were big enough I wouldn't mind putting skilled card games like the PTCG in either, or even board games. If you don't want to watch don't. But there are caveats. If only we had a Games to trial new sports like this to see if they work... Maybe these guys can help us out1 point

Indeed, Ngapeth acts like a cocky douche at times, and it is not an unpopular opinion in the volleyball world.1 point

Shooters also need strength - do you know what recoil is? And shotgun shooters have to have more reflex and concentration, as they are shooting to the moving target.1 point

@rybak cool photo! I wish I had a photo with a big sport star. The only one I took was ages ago with Natalija Kostic http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/players/player/profile.aspx?playerid=1001333621 point

There's also a rule where a team can only have one team sport (beach handball, futsal, hockey5 and rugby sevens) per gender. Brazil may pick futsal should they qualify. Should they decline it looks like Uruguay would be the next nation to be offered a spot.1 point -

These days went by so quickly... Team Brazil is about to check out of the Athletes' Village in a few minutes and then headed to Almaty airport to go back to Germany (and then Austria). I'm happy to know though that a certain Brazilian cross-country skier/biathlete has had an amazing time at the Universiade. Waking up way too early in the mornings to watch the competitions and following her adventures there has been wonderful1 point -

Oh well, at least it's a million times better to watch than all those "we don't care if we win, it's only about fun and having your jeans down on your knees"-kind of events decided by judges points like halfpipe, slopestyle, big air and whatever more they'll think of1 point -
