  4. I don't know if a have seen less depth in womens DH. There were like 5 credible skiers who could have won. No Gut, Veith, Maze really hurt this discipline.

  10. I'm currently in Galway, Ireland, as an Erasmus student and today I went to the seaside and took a lot of pictures (more than just the ones I'm putting here): I'm sorry for posting them like that but it was the only way I found (I tried other ways but it didn't work...)

Congratulations to Great Britain for the winning (although I'm sad because I really liked the Algeria and Tunisian song :-) ). 15. CLOSING CEREMONY the 2000s Back to sport, yeah the amazing years of our Hockey 2000 silver, 2002 World Champions, 2003 bronze, 2004 4th. the first part of the 2000s was the best era on our most popular sport, from 2002 to 2003 Slovakia was 1st ranked world hockey nation in the world IIHF Ranking. oh dear..where those times gone... but well, return back. in fact it´s hard to find anything else than Hockey and canoe slalom in this period. Slovakia won 6 gold medals at Olympics in the 2000s and all of them in canoe slalom. also our medals in hockey were presented here so many times here our famous hockey anthem with our road to 2002 title

  16. CLOSING CEREMONY Another typical mark of Slovakia are the well known "Čičmany" Ornaments you can see also in the TISC 2016 logo, those ornaments are a treditional part of the clothes of our athletes mainly at the olympics. they came from one of our open-air museums villages. Čičmany village let make a quick trip to Čičmany

  17. CLOSING CEREMONY The 80s in sport. A strange period again influenced by politics, our athletes excelled at Moscow 1980 olympics, but also were´nt permited to compete in Los Angeles 1984. so if I have to select something, it´s surely from 1988 olympics Jozef Pribilinec and his gold at 20km Race Walk (Last 400m at 9:30) and Miloš Mečíř winning 2 medals at Tennis return at olympics including Gold in singles

  18. CLOSING CEREMONY The 70s in sport. just a great period in our sport, again especially in Hockey, Czechoslovakia became in 77-78 two times back-to-back world champions with many slovak players in other sports, One of the biggest success and surprises of the 70s was for sure also the Anton Tkáč gold olympic medal in Montreal 1976 in Track Cycling sprint But there no way to overpass the thing that happen in 1976 in Belgrade. Czechoslovakia with 8 Slovak players in the starting 11 !!! became European Football Champions !

  20. CLOSING CEREMONY The 60s in sport was interesting especially in both our most popular sports, Ice Hockey Czechoslovakian team with many slovakians in the team, especially the Goalie Vladimír Dzurilla and the captian Jozef Golonka was one of the best teams of the history of the Ice Hockey, each match against USSR or Sweden was a sport delight but probably the biggest succes of the 60s is ofc the triumph of the slovak football club Slovan Bratislava in the Cup Winners Cup 1969 final against FC Barcelona in Basel...

  21. CLOSING CEREMONY What to write about our early sport times, There so many things that it would be probably need a one whole thread just to say about every one magic moment, so let choose only the most important... btw do you know that a Slovakian athlete is the first ever competing sportperson in the moder olympic era ? yes Alojz Sokol (In Hungarian Alajos Szokoly) was the athlete wearing the BIB number 1 in the first heat of the 100m at Athens 1896, btw he managed to win bronze medal, ofc the medal is counted under Austria-Hungary Empire. During the first olympics years, Slovak Athletes managed to win some very interesting results and medals, the most known are Zoltán Halmaj (In swimming won 7 medals, which 2 gold medals at St. Louis 1904, but also was medal decorated at Paris 1900, London 1908 under Austria-Hungary Empire) Slovakian were known for our boxers, the most known were Július Torma (Gold in London 1948) or Ján Zachara (Gold in Helsinki 1952) under the Czechoslovakian flag.

  23. CLOSING CEREMONY To start the Closing Ceremony of the Totallympics International Aunnual Song Contest 2016 let make a quick trip to the next Annual edition. The Tisc 2017 will be obviously hosted by Great Britain, ofc to introduce GB we need probably some 100 ceremonies to show everything about this beautiful country, so let make only a few minutes really ultra short video of some London and GB touristics attractions sure it´s only a negligible small percentage of all beauties of GB, Uk12points will for sure show and introduce us much more next year.
